New Year, New Changes

It’s hard to believe that the first month of 2016 is already behind us. The New Year has brought with it some changes for us here at Stief Concrete. Firstly, we said goodbye to our lead Superintendent, Jay Buch. After 53 years of service with us, Jay has finally decided to hang up his work boots (and deservedly so). Through the years he has shown determination, dedication, and loyalty. He has been not only a friend, but a mentor to so many here at Stief Concrete. Happy retirement Jay! Thanks for all you have done for us!

Although Jay will be greatly missed, we are pleased to announce that Charlie Mull will become our new lead Superintendent/Operations Manager. Charlie has been with us for 27 years. He began in the field as a general laborer and worked his way up to foreman, followed by site superintendent. We are excited to be able to offer him this new opportunity and are sure he will do a wonderful job.

Lastly, we are happy to report that Zac Martin will be taking on the role of General Manager. After working in the field for a short time, Zac moved into the office as an estimator, and became lead estimator/IT specialist shortly thereafter. We are certain that he is ready for this challenge and that he will be very successful in his new position. With these exciting new changes in place, we look forward to a bright and prosperous new year…and we wish you the same!
