At the Caron Foundation, Stief Concrete constructed a 17 foot high retaining wall, some of which was constructed on a radial curve. The wall consists of approximately 500 linear feet of concrete. The Peri Rundflex system was utilized for the radial curved portions of the wall, while the Peri Trio system was used for the straight portions. All forms were set with a crane and ganged. As the front face of the wall is exposed, Stief Concrete took great care in maintaining its attractive appearance throughout the construction process. A minimal number of panel form seams and tie holes were required. Stief Concrete also constructed all associated footings for the wall.
In addition to the retaining wall, the job included approximately 60,000 square feet of concrete slab on composite slab, 40,000 square feet of slab on grade, as well as paving, curbs, and walks.
