Gale McLean, Controller of Finance, Retires After 25 Years of Service; Wesley Lewis Takes Her Place

Gale McLean, Stief Concrete’s Financial Controller of 25 years, has retired. Throughout her years of service, Gale worked tirelessly for the betterment of the company and wore too many hats to count. She approached new opportunities with a positive attitude and never backed down from a challenge.

“Gale is an old school, hard worker. For so many years she has been one of the first, if not the first employee pulling into the parking lot every morning. She’s been an all-star employee for decades,” said Zac Martin, company President. He continued, “Gale runs into difficult situations, not away from them. She always leads with integrity, consistently modeling self-control, respectful communication and commitment to company vision.” We couldn’t agree more! Congrats on your retirement, Gale. You will be greatly missed!

Just as it is the end of a chapter for Gale, it is the beginning of a new one for Wesley Lewis, who has been hired to take her place as Stief Concrete’s new Controller. Wes comes to us with a business degree from Temple University and 20 years of tax, accounting, finance and business experience. Prior to joining our team, he worked as Secretary, Treasurer and Tax Manager of Steinman Enterprises, then as Vice President and Tax Manager of Fulton Bank’s Wealth Management Division, and most recently as a Senior Financial Program Lead for SHR Consulting Group. Welcome Wes!

We will miss you Gale!

Welcome, Wesley!
